Dydrogesterone 20 mg Tablets

Dydrogesterone is a synthetic progestogen.
Selectively binds to progesterone receptors.
Acts mainly on the endometrium and other target tissues.
Produces effective progestational effects.

  • Infertility due to luteal insufficiency

DOSAGE

Threatened Miscarriage Loading dose: 40 mg then 10 mg every 8 hours Continue until symptoms resolve
Recurrent Miscarriage 20 mg once daily Continue until about the 20th week of pregnancy
Infertility due to luteal insufficiency 20 mg once daily During the luteal phase (commonly Day 14–25 of the cycle)
Dysmenorrhea 10–20 mg once daily From Day 5–25 of the cycle
Endometriosis 10–30 mg once daily From Day 5–25 of the cycle or continuously
Irregular cycles / PMS 20 mg once daily From Day 11–25 of the cycle
Dysfunctional uterine bleeding 20 mg once daily 10 mg twice daily – Usually for 5–7 days (according to clinical judgment)
